This cartoon was posted in a Thai newspaper. Yeah, but it was a couple of Brits that got to them first. I'm amazed that the news outlets expected the kind of infighting found on reality shows. Am relieved to find reality is still real.

As I said two years, brexit is toxic. Divided the country and divided politics.
Danny Dyer was right in having a go at Cameron, created this mess and then walked away, now in Italy with his trotters up.

Both your Quitters and our Republicans not running again, don't want to be there when in a few years it all comes crashing down. They want the oppositions faces to be the ones seen at that time. So, they can continue the blame game and not take responsibility for their actions.
Anyone, who is paying attention, has every right to be worried about what is going on in the world today. However, the world has seen many dark pasts, hopefully we won't compete to be heading to the darkest past the world ever has.

Sending love to you all. Can you keep him there? Tower of London maybe?

Sending love to you all. Can you keep him there? Tower of London maybe? Do not think it would be appropriate to imprison him in the Tower. Last used as a prison during the war for Nazi spies and supporters of fascism, most notably Rudolph Hess... hold on! What am I saying, of course he would fit right in with previous residents

Mr/Ms/Mrs/ Goat this thread is meant to be for feedback about this year womad, please do so constructively and try to avoid sweeping negative statements biased on your personal political options as these simply come across as attempts to angry or upset other posters there is a thread for political views so feel free to fill yer boots in that thread If Womad are paying you for your PR services, they need to stop doing this right away. Why do you think Womad haven't released the attendance figures?

Of course that is not what I said and you know it. If anyone is a troll, missus, you are. It is very clear I am suggesting attendance has dropped because Womad has become too Guardian-reader friendly. The Guardian is overwhelmingly read by authoritarian, corporate socialists and there are a lot more non-Guardian readers who are open, friendly and embrace science who would come if it wasn't for Womad's Guardian-reader image.
If you have gone to many WOMADs you should have known this one would have diversity and a focus on science as a defining theme.
Given the weather, attendance was actually pretty good. I believe somewhere around 30,000+ daily, maybe a little lower on Thursday, which is not unusual for festivals that run into the week. Which gives credence that many people just didn't camp this year and used other options. I'm thinking they came and went, so giving an illusion of less people. Those with children came earlier and left earlier, those without kids, came later and stayed later. Perhaps some came early, went back to town to cool or dry off, returning again later. In that, might be better for the local businesses picking up increased lunch and dinner patrons. I don't know for sure, but are reasonable assumptions given the numbers.
Do you know for sure what the attendance figures were and if you do, how did you access these figures?

Getting back to the subject of feedback, I know there is no chance of this but I wouldn't mind seeing la di dah loos go, treat everyone equal and the pampering spa seems a bit over the top. Exactly, the loos provided by Womad are very good and what is good enough for us peasants should be good enough for the Guardian readers.

Who do you think you are? You can't stop people like me going to Womad and if Womad decide to replace Jon Snow with Jeremy Clarkson, there is nothing you can do about it.
