Sorry - forgot this bit. . . it's me, same miserable beef but without the mr. . . still wondering why I might be a fan of PG... but happy to be here! Being a PG fan brought me to 'his' forum, but it's the people on the forums that kept me coming back. It may make sense for him to have gone exclusively facebook, twitter and such, but I don't always do things that make sense. I have two horses and that makes no reasonable sense at all.  Much as it would be nice to see the forum take a life of it's own, I will be OK if it's just that quiet pub down the road to escape that hectic fast paced world from time to time. |

I've been hanging around on the 'official' forum for a couple of months without really saying much (since the Glasgow concert). Guess I am becoming a bit more present now :-) I like the vibes you have. Small pubs down the road are fine as well:-)
I actually found myself surfing to pg.com twice as kind of a reflex of a habit for some distraction in between work. Got to change that habit into surfing here:-)

Howdy Piperbone Jones! Nice to see you here! I don't remember an issue with avatars - I think I just uploaded my old forum image - most imaging software - even Microsoft Paint will let you resize images.

Good to see you PBJ! It's not a hopping place, but people do drift in every now and again. Probably help if Peter was doing more interesting things. As for Avatars, you can upload an image up to 1mb or link to a photo 150x150 pixels is recommended for linked photos. You do this from your profile when you are logged in. The top banner you can click on Profile or just click on your profile. In the upper right you'll see an edit profile button. From there you can edit your avatar and other personal information. There is also a button for sending PM's to other members.

Hello Zenrider - it looks as if the Womad forum is facing a similar end to the old Full Moon Club - members want to continue as a forum rather than FB/Twitter. This is something I've wondered before actually - would it be possible to add a new section here for Womad? It bring the two elements together - and could boost numbers here. I've been a member for years - they are a friendly bunch of about a dozen or so regular posters who talk about Womad, music in general and anything that comes to mind - here's the thread which talks about the forum closure - womad.org/forums/thread/ax65WkZEJmd1L7YLYQk.?p=4What do you think Zenrider?
