Hi Zenrider - thanks for setting this up so quickly - I hope it wasn't too much work? I've told the Womad forum, but I think in the meantime Womad have come up with a potential alternative. . . but that might not work out, so who knows. You know how hard it is to get people to move from one forum to another. . . . Anyway, as always thank you for this site!

No worries. Not too hard. Gave me a chance to organize and play about a bit. Perhaps I don't need so many categories and/or should put more boards into one? Anyway, it's here should they get tired of the official places. Going to add the WOMAD Link up top.

Apparently womad.org/forums/ is getting turned off after today. . . pretty sad - but thanks to Zenrider who created and maintains this forum anyone who gets lost along the way or just fancies an alternative is very welcome here! Hello? Hello!

Hey, it got me to get things a bit more organized. Who knows, what the future may bring.

"Que Sera, Sera" - when I was a kid I had this on a Doris Day best-of record and I thought it was about a girl called Kay Sarah - but this childhood misunderstanding seems nicely symbolic to me now of our misconceptions about thinking we can understand the future.

Funny you should say that, sometimes the words I think I'm hearing in a song make more sense than the actual words. To a child a song about Kay probably would make more sense. I can't remember for sure, but I probably thought it was more on the lines of Gabrielese than actual words. I think it's Seal who doesn't like to put the printed lyrics in an album (OK, CD case) for that reason.
Adding, it would seem that it's WOMAD Chili this weekend.

Seems appreciate somehow to add the fortune in tonight's fortune cookie :

Borrowed this from Tack of the Day (who likely borrowed it from somewhere else):
