Missed you post about the sneaky early weigh-in, Jax. Well done all the same. He looks far too unscruffy if you ask me. His band all look the part and the photographer's done his best but he still looks like he's wandered into the wrong shoot. I understand why they did it as his previous band was called "Crash" which must have made him wince considering the reasons for his exit from superbike racing and "James" was already taken but, they commit the cardinal sin of naming the band after him and I'm sorry, Toseland does not have the musical chops to make an ego-move like that. Grudgingly though, I will accept the fact that they're not bad, actually. If you like that sort of thing. Mind you, if you offer to fix the roof and get his mates off the sofa, maybe she'd be up for it. EDIT: Probably not one for you, Jax.  |

I didn't get as far as the singing! I gave up at the late 1970's rock band guitar playing and the "look at my lovely long hair" moves mimicking a Herbal Essences advert. Maybe I should have stuck with it................ Just have, got to 35 secs, oh dear, he thinks he's also living in the 1970's too. It's all a question of taste I guess This one is better, bit like MUSE |

This one is better, bit like MUSE Well, yes but there's a good reason for that. Not sure about the white shirts look though--they look like Bros with guitars. Can't think why they got that gig either... Mind you, I am reminded of a conversation I had with a guitarist at Glasto a few years back. A mate of his was playing in a Christian rock band and I scoffed at the very idea at which point I was informed that he was doing 320+ gigs a year in front of big audiences all over the world. If you rely on your fame as a bike racer to get a few gigs at MCN live then why the hell not? |
