Wednesday weigh-in: Week 8: 13st 1lbs No loss this week, so still 11lbs in total. I was seduced by a fish and chip supper, Pringles, salty peanuts, chocolates, liquorice allsorts and a significant quantity of Malibu last Saturday at a local quiz night, which made me put on 2 lbs and it's taken a time to come off again. We came 4th out of 12 teams....*and I got drunk*

Not to worry Jax - still on target. It sounds like a "rare and appropriate" (as Mrs Sindigo likes to say) occasion to fall off the wagon. And 4th out of 12 isn't too shabby!

Hmmmm I weighed myself late this morning, (post two mugs of coffee, they must weigh about 4lbs each). Got on the scales and they say 15 st 8 lbs that's +7 lbs from last week, I stepped off the scales then back on, yah I had lost 1 lb by doing that so now 15 7 an increase on 6 lbs from last week...... last week the scales said 15 st 1 lbs and I didn't quiet believe them then. I think I need to buy some new scales

New battery needed SC? Or are yours the old spring and weight type? You could get a set of these: www.withings.com/uk/en/products/smart-body-analyzer They connect to your phone and plot your progress on an app which then posts to social media and stuff. And if you walk through the door of a McDonalds your phone starts giving you vigorous electric shocks whilst sending all your facebook friends 'that' photo from a few years ago where you look like you've just eaten Mama Cass. Probably.

SC, I do the scale shuffle every weigh in day until I find the sweet spot of least weighage! Don't be downhearted. Be mindful of your consumption this week and all will be more positive next Friday.
