The Breath - Real World's latest signing - will be playing, by the looks of things. The Stuart McCallum trio with Irish singer Rioghnach Connolly.
Stuart McCallum is a great and innovative jazz guitarist, and the group's drummer, Luke Flowers, is one of the best jazz drummers i've seen live. And my brother knows his dad - how's that for tenuous?
A little bird also informs me that funky Brazilian group Cabruera will play too. Very impressive at Africa Oye 2006, but haven't heard a peep about them since. Could be an interesting one.

I'm now fairly content not to be going on the Thursday this year. Nothing against ADF - no doubt they will put on a great show -but I do think they should go for something more worldy on the Thursday and put the more mainstream acts over the weekend when there are likely to be more alternatives available for those who are not a fan. Last time they were on, I left the gig very early. Bit surprised they are returning so soon.
This seems likely a tactical ploy to sell more Thursday tickets knowing the hardcore, loyal Womaders (although not me this year) will always buy a Thursday ticket no matter what and they are reaching out to a wider fanbase. I therefore don't blame the choice and lets hope it works

So soon?! They last played nine years ago dm And as for whether they are not 'worldy' enough...well, that's a different discussion altogether...

I'm still disorientated. It'll take a while to find all the right letters again.

King Creosote and Soom T are both playing on separate days. I am hoping this will not be a barrier to one or other making a guest appearance. A possible partial Burns Unit reunion? They made what is one of my all time favourite albums, check it out!
