this song became a Glasgow anthem for Hayseed Dixie when after a impromptu rendition by the whole crowd during one gig
they only played it in Glasgow but they have now recorded it so everyone can enjoy it

This has been getting a lot of playtime on WXRT, but one time I don't mind them 'overplaying' a song. Meg Myers really outdid herself with this Kate Bush classic. I posted two links as the official video might be hard for some to watch with flashing images. The NPR Tiny desk concert is worth listening to if you have some extra time.

Perhaps finish with "Louder than Bombs" seems rather bland, perhaps I'm needing something more uplifting ..... Of Course Auntie Patti

and so I stay retro, it's 10 to 1 and perhaps I've drunk too much, but we're in lockdown! so what the heck. A classic album that when I first heard it I thought "BASTARDS" they had stolen my song! In the late 1970's my mate Simon and I recorded on his cassette tape recorder in his bedroom, Dirty Old Town, I played card board box and wooden spoons as drums and loud raucous vocals, whilst he went wild on an acoustic guitar, we sent the tape to some "exchange girls" from Cincinnati. The Bloody Pogues stole it 6 or 7 years later, or so I'd like to think An utterly classic album, turn it up loud and go wild!!!! Love it Attachment Deleted

Love it We used to play Sally MacLennane in a band I was in many years ago, so I guess we stole one back from them for you
