Stuck in the house on a wet windy Sunday. Just reading latest Songlines edition this morning. (Songlines is a 'world' music magazine for anyone not familiar with it). A few mentions of PG including a Russian violinist(Viktorio Mullova) saying all his albums are included in her all-time favourites. Just interesting to hear that influence. She looks about 30 or so. Plus an interview with Ian Anderson(Jethro Tull) when discussing Nusra Fateh Ali Khan, acknowledging PG's part in bringing world music to public attention. It's all world music I know, but for want of a better term... It is Songlines' 100th edition anniversary and RealWorld gets a few mentions too - let's hope given recent dropping of back catalogue it remains a force for supporting/publicising new work.

That's it interesting, I love all Peter's work involving World Music so is of interest.
