Will lend and ear a little later - popped in just now to a discussion on eating seal and kangaroo meat so popped out again! You should try Kangaroo meat SS, if it's properly prepared it's delicious. We had some that was cooked like BBQ steak on skewers and it was really quiet tough, but we also had some in a restaurant and what they had done was to marinate the meat in red wine, sealed in plastic bags for 30 days, the meat was so tender it was almost like liver in texture I'll have a look at the link later, always fancied Womalaide

I used to like liver when I was a kid, but would prefer a bean burger now. One of my previous partners got really excited when the fishmongers in Reading (the one in Smelly alley, if Digital Monkey happens to read this)had alligator meat on sale - he bought, cooked and ate that and I just wondered why.....and he couldn't understand that I didn't want to try it! He lives in Australia now so I'm guessing he'll appreciate kangaroo meat as you do S.C.
