What if the population realised that the Public Service is there to protect the vulnerable and at risk whether kids, adults or the elderly, to give every child an equal chance in life, the vulnerable protection, to protect it's citizens from crime, fire and disease, to assist when you are ill or injured, to provide shelter for those that have none, to provide infrastructure to encourage business to thrive, to encourage businesses from other countries to use us as a home and invest, to defend us and protect our interests, to assist other weaker countries that are under threat or it's people are persecuted and to provide services that the Private Sector has not yet developed a market yet to provide.
To work for the Pubic Service despite what The Daily Mail, The Express would say it is an honourable but underpaid occupation regardless of whether you are Local Government, Cicil Service, NHS, Armed Services, Fire & Rescue, Police, Secret Services, Immigration etc. You are all working for the benefit of the citizens of the UK, you are over worked, under paid, over stressed and under appreciated and yet you should hold your head high, for doing an honourable and essential occupation for the UK and the world.
It is not the workers, Soldiers, Civil Servants, Local Government Officers, Immigration Officers that cause the problems but the Politicians.

what if bank notes were just bits of paper Boom  one of my pet subjects Money is nothing but confidence and trust If you own a Ford, and Ford stops trading, you still have a car, if you have a 10 Franc note 10 years after France joins the Euro you have paper, if you have a note in a Country that the world and the Countries population don't Trust or have Confidence in you have paper. So is the way of capitalism, it is not built on facts but on confidence and trust. |
