O.K, so the day is still but young, but a few hours ago there was a perfect storm of pre-traffic silence, cool air through the bedroom window, the brilliant fresh green of the lime tree leaves just beginning to break out of their buds, the pink glow of the sunrise and an extraordinarily brilliant and prolonged dawn chorus..... complete with wren song, which I haven't heard for a long time - lovely to hear it back!  |

The sound of the email as I read it in my head that the council had actually cleaned up the dog mess off the pavement in front of the house skipped outside alas half of it was on the drive so is still there - Looks like we are going 50/50 on this one and who can blame them its on private property
