It was great - and a big relief as I somehow hadn't expected to like it quite as much; really enjoyable; bring on the other 11 in the series!

Of course, when growing up it was 20 minute long episodes with a cliffhanger. The doctor has moved on and that is a format we may yearn for but will not work today (maybe the reason it was axed last century). I think the new format is good but prefer it when there is a theme running over the episodes, that way you get more involved and think about what might be about to happen in the next episode.

Great to see Cybermen back and actually scary. They had got mundane in their last outings but now they are a lot more sinister, like the olden times.

I miss having to hide behind the sofa during the scariest bits of Doctor Who. You don't do that anymore?

I miss having to hide behind the sofa during the scariest bits of Doctor Who. You don't do that anymore? Not enough space to hide any more 😟
