I've just got back from two weeks in Sicily. . . almost every day was like the best summer weather we can hope for here. It was the first holiday I've had in 10 years and so far I wish I hadn't returned. . . to lousy weather, Brexit BS etc etc and the knowledge that I now can't afford this year's womad, sunny or muddy.

Thanks Jamboyoti - feeling very disappointed with coming home so far. . . going back to work today with a cold was the icing on the cake. The last few years I have doubted that I will go to Womad. . . so who knows? Of course I don't want to miss it. . . the last 22 years of my life have revolved around Womad!

Have a feeling we are going to have a lot of that kind of weather this summer. How's the cold coming Beef. The hazards of travel. I think I only dodged that since I was just finishing up a long flu, and had a tetanus shot (from my nail in foot incident) just before the trip. PD around here the weather forecasters have a hard enough time forecasting tomorrow's weather... Friend of mine in Canada calls them weather liars.  |
