I've got rain mac packed, plus wet trousers. Thinking walking sandals and either wellies or walking boots, depending on how much rain. Big fat fleece lined jacket that I got last year in an emergency will be coming too, can't get it under the rain mac tho! But now I've got a sore throat...... heeeeelllpppp!

Gawd - hope you feel better soon bloohair. . . it's not like the old days - I seem to remember most of the first Womads I went to (say 94 to 2001) the only weather hazard was being roasted alive. I remember going back to my tent one evening and the water in my water bag was as hot as a hot tap - never understand how some people seem to be able to sleep in a 50C tent. . . maybe they're not asleep?

Yes indeed Mr Beef. I first came in 1990 and 91 and it was ROASTING! Brought my ickle boys along too, they're 30 now! Gawd!
Let's hope this throat won't come to much.

Lets hope so Baz, looking good on the web cam, and your beer truck has arrived. Will you be camping in roughly the same area?

looks like light rain on Thursday afternoon but a soaking on Wednesday which should help the tent pegs going into the ground
the rest of the weekend looks dry
Del want to test out his new kilt water defending device which will only mean one thing
it won't rain!

We've had very little rain here over the past couple of weeks so the ground will be dry and firm at the moment. Rain is forecast over the next few days so the ground will soften up a bit. The various forecasts, which have been changing a lot over the past few days, seem to be agreeing now, that Thursday will see some rain, then it's drying up on Friday through the weekend with only a small chance of a shower or two. Let's hope they're right! Sounds like it won't be a muddy weekend, though Mrs Rendrags is insistent on getting her wellies ready, and has bought a new pair of waterproof trousers.

Just bought my waterproof over trousers from the famous Ramond stores in the Forest of Dean. First pair ever, after last years wet experience. Should be a guarantee of dry weather for the weekend😊
