Radio WOMAD should be online and on FM during the festival and in the build up
links posted when possible
Del has also managed to sneak on to Munro show on the Saturday morning for the last 3 years, he hasn't contacted Munro yet but he will and you never know

I tend to avoid Radio WOMAD. The music is usually good, but the hosts make so many mistakes, year on year, with their information, pronunciation and general world music knowledge. I once sent an angry text into them and make me come back stage and meet some people so I felt bad.
And I did.
It didn't stop them from being wrong though.

I on the other hand love Radio WOMAD. Perfect accompaniment every morning by my tent. Unfortunately don't listen rest of the day as otherwise occupied 😁.
I don't mind the inaccuracies and even the more amateur presentation; it provides a certain charm about it as opposed to all these identikit commercial radio stations that you get nationwide.

I definitely don't mind the style of presentation itself - god knows I've made a few amateur radio shows in my time - but if you are presenting a show at the UK's premier event for music of other cultures, I think you should at least know a little bit about the music you are playing so that you don't give out false information about it. Especially when so many people come to WOMAD to learn about different music and different cultures that they may never have experienced otherwise.
