scouting around, we can contribute the sound of singing bowls (4x, differing sizes) violin (if simple) recorder, tin whistle, long tin whistle, finger bells, and I think there is a tambourine, a couple of prayer drums and rainstick in the loft and, of course, there's the full range of surfaces, pans etc which can be whacked with a wooden spoon and various things which can be dropped into and dragged through a bathfull of water for splooshing sounds, I can sing a bit and clap or could try and put a few words together too; would be nice to work with someone to do this..

Armsnlegseverywhere is ace on violin( I have heard) and I have all sorts of percussionny things including a cuica, guiros, and guitars, ukes, banjo. Bassy on err bass? Sounds like a great line up. Not sure how to organise a virtual jam sess though 😜 perhaps at the CP bandstand July 2017 ?

...just for the record, I don't play violin, I play fiddle.  The difference being that fiddlers happily make mistakes and don't stick to the script :-) And I don't do anything fancy...also can holler out a tune with the best of them in a bawdy drinking stylee :-)

I have no musical ability whatsover. I do like to whistle occasionally, but Mrs Rendrags finds it rather annoying.

I'm happy to supply crisps and pork scratchings.

I'm not allowed to bring any more stuff to womad, so it may be a case of a kazoo and a swannee whistle...... I also have a Clanger which makes the "oh bugger, the bloody thing's stuck again" sound - I may be able to squeeze that in the packing....

Have just learned I play fiddle and not the violin - happy discovery!

Hotdrummer, any suggestions we can have a go at at home before the Full Moon Pub Womad Forum Bandstand Band gets together next year?
