It was at least 2 or 3 years ago and there was a thread on the worst or accidental cds that you own I have a free cd that came with a magazine, the cd was called "Heavy Blues" and it is dreadful "Rock" and "teenage pretentious bollocks" I happened to say I disliked it so much I would buy anyone a pint to take it away and you accepted |

Done it! Rendrags and Ruby are going to Womad! Woop Woop! I'm well pleased as there's a new 'No Camping' SN16 ticket for lucky people people like us who can go home each evening to our comfy beds. The tickets are £90 each and include Thursday - which is a darned sight cheaper than the £120, plus Thursday add-on of £30, which I paid last year. What a bargain! I almost felt guilty buying them! That is a good deal Rendrags. If only I could use my Reading Passport to Leisure Card like I could back in the Rivermead days
I haven't booked tickets this year yet but the email to my group has gone out. Having been just 2 in our group this year I can see our complement going back up to 7-10 this time

We are in the process of picking next years vacations, so will have to wait and see. it's a by seniority thing. If somehow it can happen, I will make it happen. Due to my Stepfather's recent medical issues, the Disney trip I had hoped to take my mother on this winter, may have to get postponed a year, so it's become a maybe. It's not likely the week, or preferably, the two weeks I'd need will be available for me. We'll see. It would be nice to hang around some normal crazy people for a bit. Otherwise, I might just go to the Shetlands and try to fit some time in the Orkney's this time. They had a folk festival about a week before I went last May, so maybe that might be a plan as well? In the meantime, have at it will be Friday or Monday before I know what weeks are still open to me. sounds like a plan one way or another one bit of advice if you do head to Shetland and Orkeny thermal waterproofs that is all ;o) |
