Hard year to sum up in words, really. Felt like being shoved from pillar to post for the most part; sledgehammer headlines to wake up to..... loss of people who had enhanced our lives in ways which reached deep; loss of people through fleeing their homelands in terror; loss of wildlife species and habitat; over 10k badgers unnecessarily killed ; bonds with neighbouring lands broken; democracy being shown to fail; lies everywhere; the list goes on. So glad to have Womad in our calendars; we need it more than ever; long may it last, and long may we meet there every last weekend in July; and on this forum every day betweentimes. Love and hugs xxxxxxxxxx
