....I have a windows phone, so no app for that probably :-( ...I think it was Stepney wotdidit for the Clashfinder last year, very handy. But I think I will get the colouring pens out and make my own timetable this year, unfortunately the old eyesight is getting worse and I cant be bothered getting the specs out of the bag every time I want to know what's on, so I will colour code everything in extra-large handwriting. (Luckily I am not yet sufficiently hard of hearing as to have to go to the Big Red Tent.) I started needing reading glasses (as well as my normal prescription ones) a couple of years ago, and last year was my first visit to Womad with them. I brought the prescription reading glasses with me, but also bought one of the pairs of cheap plastic reading glasses from Specsavers (they helped me pick the ones which were closest to my prescription) that I could quickly grab out of a pocket when needed. They're quite narrow too, so often I didn't even need to take my normal glasses off, just push them up a bit while I read what I need to read and then put them away again

I have contact lenses for the same ccassional use, such as being at the front of stage and jumping about manically. Nothing worse than having glasses flying off and having to scramble on the floor to rescue them. Only problem was they improved long distance but hard work studying the programme so needed pound shop reading glasses. Now got bifocal lenses which provide long and short distance vision, real improvement. Only thing is I still have a load of the old ones to use up so have to select which day for each set of lenses.

Thanks for the link Mikey. I saw The Ska Vengers last weekend at a free festival in London and they were excellent. Good enough to buy their CD immediately directly from them Will be seeing them again at WOMAD for sure!

Yes GLASSES!
Need to decide what to do. Contact lenses are great as they can't be knocked off. However with them in I need reading glasses! With my 'seeing' glasses I just take them off to read.

I can't find when Bixiga 70 are performing. It says 27th on their facebook page but they don't appear to be on the timetable. Confused!
