There is only one now SC. The two 'versions' came to an agreement some time ago, so the 'version' you saw in Brighton is the group you will see at Womad.

A little surprised that they're on the CG stage - I'd have thought they'd have been more suited to the Open Air. When we saw them on tour last year there must have been 12 or so band members performimng - it's going to be very cosy on the CG stage! And a mass of people watching - better get there early to get doooon the front!

I saw them at Theatre Severn, Shrewbury last year and it wasn't easy to get a good view or even dance freely in a small space.

Will the womad stage layouts be a repeat of last years? I thought the main stage was too crowded with limited space between stage and catering. Perhaps Afro celts will be better on the CG stage in its new location. Just so long as there is no sound creep from the funfair (do not remember this being a problem last year but is a worry when you have a steam fair close by)

The best times I have seen ACSS was in the Siam Tent and in a tent at the Wickham Festival. Can't see them having the impact in an open space Move 'em to the Siam Tent!

Just so long as there is no sound creep from the funfair (do not remember this being a problem last year but is a worry when you have a steam fair close by) fingers crossed the main stage has a bit more room this year and the CG stage was a lot better last year and we can't recall any issue with the steam fair

Siam is a pain unless you can get to the front. I dislike acts inside tents immensely because I'm only 5ft tall and claustrophobic in crowds, so open space and lots of room please.

The Ska Vengers are a must see for me now after streaming their albums at work today while checking out the line-up for Walthamstow Garden Party (lovely little free festival in London. A great warm-up for WOMAD!). The Ska Vengers - Frank Brazil [HD] [Official Music Video]
