The i/o album is now available to pre-order: petergabriel.bandcamp.com/album/i-oReleased on 1st of December £14 seems steep for the digital version, but it is a double album (both the light side and dark side mixes of each track). £17 for the double CD (which would also include the download on Bandcamp), rather tempting, but there's an added £6.35 for "shipping and tax" 🤔

Well I'll be jiggered... never thought this day would come - I thought the finished album would eventually come after more endless fiddling, mixing and procrastinating. I did hope that there would be just one definitive mix of each track on the final release - I don't think the light/dark versions are generally different enough to make it worthwhile (apart from the annoyingly loud splash at the end of the dark mix of Road to Joy)
Did you subscribe to the full moon releases nigenet? If so, I think you get the digital release included automatically... unless I've misunderstood. I wonder if you start subscribing late whether you still get everything that's been offered over the last 10 months? £3 for the lot wouldn't be bad...
It's had a certain novelty, getting a track (both mixes plus an early version) each month - but it doesn't really seem like a new album now. In fact, there's something about the sound of these tracks that doesn't really sound like a PG album... nothing really unusual or challenging... almost middle of the road? Anyway, I wonder what will happen next with the subscription...?

Well well its finally arrived, I'm I the only one that really isn't bothered at this late hour? Lots of work I must concede, but is their too much I wonder? Overall I am left slightly flat by the whole 'releasing a track a month' thing, quite irritating, more so by the price of the CD postage.

Hopefully, there will be a live concert album to follow.

I looked on Amazon last night and there are a 2 disc set and a 3 disc set, the 3 disc includes a Blue ray, Ill look again but cant see what the third disc is, one could hope it was some concert footage. Although its 2nd in the charts I see the Rolling stones have sold 6k and PG has sold 300 & 600 discs. Like Zenrider, I'd be interested in a Live concert recording.

I read that the Blu-ray is just hi-res audio & surround mixes of the album... nice for some folks no doubt, but useless to many (including me)

Well, I went ahead and pre ordered it through Target. Which saved me a bunch of money from ordering it in pounds on Peter's site. Since, I had a $25 gift card from a purchase I made last year, and rewards points from everyday purchases, I went ahead and bought the 2CD with the Blue Ray. I went and ordered a few other CD's, which got me free shipping. It's weird, if you order more than $35 you get free shipping, yet I will be getting the CD's in three different shipments. Yeah, doesn't make sense, but I'll take it.

I'm not sure who else here has been subscribing on Bandcamp, but having spent £30 on it since January, I think I'll pass on the CDs etc. I think the whole album will become available as part of the download subscription from 1st December... unless I've misunderstood?

Only one way to find out. If you've been able to download when the songs are released, you already have it. I have little doubt there will be a live album. Which show, I don't know. Maybe he'll offer a digital download for the show of your choice, as I think he's done before. Though, that's why I prefer CDs, as I don't lose those as easily when I get a new computer.

I've been waiting for his response. It is appropriate. There is no easy answer to this. Netanyahu has created much of the issue with his greedy land grabs in Gaza. He's as corrupt a politician as there ever was one. However, Hamas needed no excuse to do what they did. Even without the land grabs in Gaza, Hamas would have attacked. They are terrorists that conned their way into power, then would not relinquish that power. Not allowing elections and murdering any opposition to them in Gaza. Something, I can relate to, as the Republican Party is trying to do much the same thing in the USA. Sadly, the US is not the only country with this threat in their politics. Beyond that, Hamas has only built tunnels to protect themselves, no bomb shelters for the Palestinian people. Hamas has never done anything for the Palestinian people, except make sure they stayed poor. In this all roads lead back to Putin, who sent the Wagner Group to train them to be the violent terrorists they are today. Hamas leaders have recently been to Russia to visit Putin. This conflict has nothing to do with the Israeli people or the Palestinians. They are pawns in Putin's game. A distraction he needed to split support, and perhaps reduce the amount of support Ukraine has been receiving world wide in their battle for their freedom. What Hamas doesn't understand from Putin, as he woos them with promises he will break. What they don't know is Putin would be happiest if both sides wiped each other out entirely. The world hasn't admitted it yet, but Putin started WWIII when he invaded Ukraine. Which is why Ukraine cannot be allowed to fail in their fight against Putin/Russia.

Such unspeakable darkness and hate, with no glimmer of light. Beyond words horrific.
