Sorry to have missed playing Eurovision this year - will get my act together for next year. Have watched since though and scored:
1st equal - Portugal & UK
3rd equal - Romania & Belgium
5th - Hungary
6th equal -Belarus & Azerbaijan
8th - Croatia
9th - Moldova
10th - Greece
Loved it when Salvador and his sister shared the winner's encore - beautiful
while the floaty red dress award of the evening definitely goes to:

Like you I missed watching Eurovision on the night. Did see him sing on the Tuesday semi final and thought it was good back then, did not think it would be good enough to win, without any expensive gimmicks that seem to have been important for other recent winners. Really amazed at the winning encore, bringing on his sister (who wrote the song) to Sing a duet and produce such a nice laid back performance.

Yes, he had a point in what he said about returning songs to be about feeling rather than effects - and this was a lovely example, but,as you say, quite a different winner for Eurovision which has become all about gimmicks.............. the voters have spoken; should be interesting to see whether next year's Eurovision has a different feel.
Looks like you are on a steam engine there, mikey?
