Indeed SC - it makes me weep at what these people are prepared to do to blameless others they don't even know.

It's so sad that anyone could do such a terrible thing. And yet, within moments of the attack, people were opening their doors to help strangers, taxi drivers were turning off their meters to get people away, hotels were looking after lost children. That reassures me. To know that whatever bad people do, good people will always do better to show them who we truly are and that they will never win

very sad events
and if want to make a difference go to a gig and show people you are not scared
terrorism only works if you feel terrified

Another horrific senseless act. Thoughts for everyone in the UK. Be aware of your surroundings, but definitely keep doing the things you enjoy.

An imbeccably minutes silence was observed on Monday at Wembley for the football. Great effort for a crowd of 76,000. Well done Reading and Huddersfield fans. Also we all stood up and applauded during the 22nd minute.

I really hope everyone fortunate to get a (legitimate) ticket for the one love concert on Sunday have a once in a lifetime experience, especially all those who were entitled to a ticket after being there on the night of the 22nd May. What a wonderful way to overcome the horrors of the night, conquer their fears and renew their enthusiasm for live music.
After saying that, it turns out that just over 14000 attended the Ariane Grande concert and they received over 25000 applications for the free tickets. That means there were 10000 low life's trying to steal tickets, possibly denying others the opportunity to attend but certainly taking money from a good cause. I guess it is unlikely that any prosecutions for theft from a charity will take place but would be good to see. It does however reflect the attitude to ticket sales, secondary ticket sites and touts cashing in on music fans. If only the next Government will have the balls to introduce legislation to combat secondary ticket sites and touts.

Lovely pictures of Ariane Grande visiting some of the victims in hospital. Does not look like someone visiting her fans though, more like a big sister having a good time with her siblings,

Since they know who had legitimate tickets to the concert, it should not be too hard for them to deny the jerks from receiving a ticket. Perhaps, an email offering no fraud charges for a donation to a victims fund?
That's nice of Ariana to visit those still in hospital. None of this was her fault.
It's the fault of would be Islamic fascists. Perhaps even more, those that want to feel important, at any cost, so will claim allegiance with whatever stupidity is convenient at the moment. What they don't understand, whatever they may "believe," the old Soviet / Nazi fascists have a larger older network....
