It seems this is the last image from Webby: and Webby goes to bed for another year hopefully next year Webby will have a zoom function so views can check if the people using the urinals washed their hands afterwards did anyone else notice there was no hand gel for the users of the urinals or was that just Del?

OK SC is being a bit provocative here but, why? You are not touching anything dirty only a bit of your own flesh? I don't wash my hands each time I touch my knee. In those urinals, you touch no doors, no handles, no flush, nothing unhygienic, Thoughts?

Good habit to wash your hands at every opportunity, not knowing what you may have touched earlier, or who has touched the same items as you and may not have been so hygiene conscious. Disappoin ed there was no hand gel by the urinals but did have my own pocket sized hand gel. π
Should really be asking, who bothered to wash their hands before eating at Womad? That is the greatest risk of transfer of germs from hands to mouth. π€’

I agree sc - we'd all be dead otherwise... I think the question of hygiene is mostly a matter of cross-contamination via hundreds of people using the same facilities... the only issue is potential splash-back, containing others' stale piss from the urinal, even as minute dropletts. But I doubt it's any more hazardous than handling money, mud, door-handles etc... just clean your hands before you eat, put contact lenses in etc...

I'm sure all your todgers are squeaky clean all of the time guys!!!! π¨ If you anti bac before eating you should be OK. π However, if using a portaloo with a door handle and a handle to pump the chemicals, I'd feel happier using the gel immediately after use, as you never know how mucky previous people have been. π

Along with hand-sanitiser probably best to keep a can of WD40 with you... squeaks, imagine that?

Oh dear Armsnlegs hope your feeling better soon, silly question but are you sure it's not Hay fever? I used to suffer terribly from "Summer Colds" every year, until someone gave me a hay fever tablet and I was cured! Took me 50 years to realise I got Hay Fever

I think it's just bad luck armsnlegseverywhere... who knows where these things come from? I was really Ill about 4 weeks before Womad - fever that lasted over a week, sweating and shivering and also had weird effects on my vision, which have only recently cleared... I was worried that I wouldn't make it to Womad... so glad we're both feeling better and could enjoy Womad!

Always seems to happen to me at the very worst time to be sick. Glad you were feeling much better for WOMAD.
