Looks like the Men's Urinals deserve a thread of their own! I used them a few times - they serve a good purpose in reducing the length of the queue for the toilets.  BUT I would have appreciated some hand sanitizers next to the urinals - I wasn't happy about having a wee then going off to buy food and drink with unwashed hands  Well said. I always carry hand sanitizer with me so was prepared for the urinals. I am sure that in the past they had dispensers fixed to posts outside the urinals. |

If it is a Supplies Tent could it not be moved to outside the perimeter road to free up more space for us womader? |

I kept hoping so Jax - would have been handy in that beer-free corner of the site...but it never opened or revealed its purpose... maybe it's the mystery tent referred to in the forum navigation? Perhaps the whole festival gets packed away in that tent, which is then folded up, put in the back of a truck, stored in a shed at a secret location in Box, until next year... |

Especially, if that is where they keep the beer and liquor supply. It's location would better serve the food and beverage vendors restock their locations faster. Perhaps it being there is why Webby isn't more participant orientated? Meaning if they put it on the other side of the track, the camera may be moved back as well, thus even worst for WOMAD waving. As for the open air urinals, it seems their design offers the users some discretion even in the open, but yeah, some screens and signage, would have probably solved the mystery of the screened off areas. I wonder how many women walked around the screen and went, "Whups, sorry, never mind." As for portable toilets, I have no problem with them, they are generally set up clean and tidy. I have a problem with the people that are too phobic to sit down properly and instead pee all over the seat, floor, etc. and don't clean up after themselves. Seriously, you can't sit down, because you are afraid of catching something from the seat, or (for some guys) aim better, but you can pee or shit all over everything and leave it like that for the next person? Seriously? Even if you have no respect for the next person, respect yourself enough to be responsible and clean up after yourself. Why should the next person have to deal with your disgusting mess. OK, that's a pet peeve of mine. we bough thought the open urinal were a bit of bad joke
and it's not easy to go when you have a few thousand people watching or kids playing in the mud near by
