Hey forum nerds. I did manage to get us a mention on Radio W. It was so nice to see you all. Now I know why Armsnlagseverywhere is so called. And thank you or saying hello over the weekend. Like a bunch of ready made pals. 💋💋Not got round to posting due to a wifiless camping trip. I just had a message from some people who have a bar in Gran Canaria that W is happening there in November. Anyone got any info? Dates etc?

after a quick search online it looks like it will be in 2018 (it past of an election promiss to bring back WOMAD to the Gran Canaria

I hear it will be 9-11 November this year CalnDel. Flights around £70 return. I know when I went once before we saw Imelda May, Tinariwen, Roy Ayres, Vieux farka Toure all for nowt in the Park St Catalina and only 1k away a beach with warm sea even in November. If you look on fb at 'womad canarias' it's there 'official' posted Saturday. We'll be partying in Bar Da Vinci

The only officially announced continuation to the WOMAD saga is being part of another festival this coming weekend. www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/shows/river-stage-womad-2017Good chance you may have information should the other is made to happen this year. If I hear anything I'll make sure to add it to the banner on the desktop version of the FMP.  |
