This year we didn't get our e-tickets through when expected, after we'd finished our instalments. When I contacted the Womad office they said that we had an outstanding balance due to be paid. When I emailed them the dates and payments that we had actually paid, the e-tickets miraculously arrived! That is the only problem we've ever had.
I'm hoping that the early birds hatch before we go away on the 23rd November!!!

After 5 years on the spin decided that 2018 will be a fallow year. Concentrate my Festival budget elsewhere

Let us know which festival you choose instead It's likely to be a few smaller festivals. I usually do one other to Womad, so thinking of three next year. I expect folky ish but may do something completely random

It sounds a bit crazy and one should have an idea of who they want to see. Mostly as it seems the whole island is involved. Just missed it last year by a weekend, but found the idea of an islands wide festival intriguing. OK, probably only a little easier for you to do...

In this country getting from I live - just West of London to Shetland would be an adventure in itself but a festival on one of the Scottish Islands certainly appeals. A different universe from some of the bland corporate festivals we get down these parts

2017 WOMAD won't go down as a classic so with that in mind I fancy trying something different or maybe Latitude again. Or on the other hand we could do WOMAD but spend a few days camping on the way down making a week of it and more of an event. All in the mix. My mate and missus are going to WOMAD Gran Canaria and Im sooooooooo jealous and its sure to get worse if Lamomali or IFE are on the bill. But Typical of the Spanish they haven't announced the acts yet.

I try to support local Arts Centres from time to time when I'm travelling the country
