I noticed there was no thread for this so here’s my wish list, or at any rate, a few on my mind. Having seen Rhiannon Giddens then everybody should see her. There’s a start and:-
2) Sarah Jarosz
3) Lila Downs
4) Nigel Kennedy
5) First Aid Kit
6) Parov Stelar
and how about this band Skipinish who’re playing at CC in Glasgow but is sold out😪
Anyway I’ve installed an app called Bandsintown so I won’t miss gigs anymore. See you at CC with hipflask.

No wish list from me coz the best ones for me are never headliners, never the ones I've seen or heard before, for me it's the new discoveries, new sounds, or simply that Womad moment that we all wish for

Yes, I have Hindi Zahra's "Handmade" CD, brilliant, never seen her, so she gets my vote. The CD was recommended to me by Calndel so I guess they'd approve too

She played in 2016 but we would love to see her play again as we missed it due a clash with the grit orchestra

Hello SC my foray north of the border has been restricted by an Irish wedding and relatives visit so only managing a flying visit on 1Feb. I will be at the Art School gig that night though. Hip flask at hand. Art school gigs always get a good line up with lots of surprises but you have to be prepared for the 3am finish 💤💤💤💤
