it's going to be the D and B soundscape stage this year . They added the details on the womad web and facebook page .. Hi TheDoc! Welcome to the forum!
Haven't heard of any of the 17 artists selected for this new stage!
Not sure if this is the final line-up announcement, or maybe one more?

I assumed from what they said, that B&W only provided the sound system. Real World will "still" curate the stage. google definition of "Curate" is "select the performers or performances that will feature in (an arts event or programme)." So as they are "still" doing that, I presume selection of bands etc was always Real World Records. My assumption therefore is they are scrambling around looking for a Sound System. Anyone got a spare amp? I'm sure I know someone who'll have a PA... not sure it will be up to B&W standards though 
... Could be a tad tricky to bring on the train too!  The Womad Forum tea Room P.A.'s are up for it.........................(nothing new there)..................... |

at first glance Del thought it was a drum and base stage
but when he had time to fully read over the news his ears began to tingle
Del may just set up for the weekend in the dnb stage

Thanks for the welcomes. I used to participate in the old womad forum occasionally but only just found this new one. Took me a while I know but I found you. I'm getting most excited at it almost being July....
