Today has been pretty unbearable here in Suffolk, 29 degrees and muggy and cloudy - at 6pm! Glad to see forecast for Malmesbury is around 24 at the moment - more manageable. ☀️ I’m thinking of leaving wellies, plastic trousers and walking boots at home now - am I mad?

Don't do it! yet anyway. Tuck them in a corner somewhere. If you don't, I suppose you might be able to buy some there if needed.

Hopefully womad water will be better this year.
28c in Bristol yesterday and it didn't cool down much over night.
At least we are getting acclimatized to the south west weather before WOMAD

We use an app called Weather Underground, which uses information from local amateur weather stations. We're finding it very accurate. It currently says that there is a 40% chance of rain on the Sunday morning and 50% overnight Sunday to Monday. I'm sure it will change again though. 😎

Latest forecast has you bringing your wet weather/mud gear. Looks like afternoon showers Thursday, Scattered Thunderstorms Friday, followed by brilliant weather Saturday and Sunday. As it looks now, rain should be over for the WOMAD Wave. Just my luck, we've been dry, dry, dry. The one day it would be nice not to have rain, Sunday's Blues Fest, yep we have a scattered Thunderstorm warning too.
However, weather forecasts are subject to change.

What can one do about the weather? Here's hoping for better weather than currently forecast. After all, weather forecasts are just best guesses. At least, it seems, you all should have dry weather to set up camp and get settled in.

BBC Weather is just showing as a bit of rain on Friday and Saturday morning, I'd be happy with that
