Hello everybody, would some1 help me, please I will be WOMAD for the first eva time this year. I will be on own and I wondering what is therefor my little fur baby
He isbe 11 months when is WOMAD time. I want know if its aloud for me to take love little fur baby in his stroller to see the music bands. Is there ,a special place for pople with strollers? I havent been to a pop concert before so this inew to me. Thanx for advice

If you are asking about bringing a pet, pets are not allowed at WOMAD. Only registered Guide Dogs, though I'm sure that includes some service dogs as well. A leash or collar that says service dog is not enough, they must have proof. The reason is because too many people try to pass off their pets as service dogs. if your child happens to be a bit hairy that's another story
children of all ages are very welcome at WOMAD but we would advice getting some baby ear defenders
strollers extra should be fine, some people use trolleys to cart their sprogs around and they also make very good makeshift beds to tired little one

The family camping area is best for small children. There’s plenty of activities for children of all ages, but not for 4 legged varieties.

Hi, thanx for your answers. My little one has Congenital Hypertrichosis and he nearly 11 months old. Problem hes get about on all4s an look abit like a large puppy. How do you get a service dog proof cos I dont now if he be aloud in the gate if the bouncer think hes a animal. Or would it be better to leave him home trouble is he like music and look forward to womad

Hi Carnivor, Yes children are allowed, although as previously mentioned by others, I'd recommend ear protection. you can hire "Trollies" for kids there as also previously mentioned, which are great. Some parents take push chairs but these can be tricky as they have small wheels, particularly if there is some rough ground or a bit of mud. If in doubt about whether your child will be allowed entrance then bring along some ID for your child, or perhaps contact Womad direct beforehand. I am sure you will both have a wonderful time, it is the easiest, most relaxed and cleanest Festival I have ever attended. Enjoy  |

Thanx for your advise Zenrider, calndel, bloohair an Sc. I much prefer to keep my little fur baby in my own stroller which is more like a cage onwheels. Either that or in his harness as he tends to go for people, esspesialy children. Just need to get some service dog proof, how do I get that. He really luvs his music. I luv to see his little tail awagging. Look out for us at womad, were eazy to spot. It gon be great

If your 11 month old is a child, I'm pretty sure they won't mistake him for a dog, even if hairy and on all fours. A child with a condition for unusual hair growth of course would be welcome without question. Also, at that age would have free entry.
If your fur baby is a dog and you have to ask about getting service dog proof, well, you probably should find other arrangements for him for the weekend. If you show up at the gate with a dog in a stroller, they will probably not let you enter.
I'm starting to think you might be having a go at us?

Your allright of course innit. Its hard being a mum, even when your little fur babyis not, like ykno, a human baby. I have desided to leave Khloé home. W plenty food an water obvs. Because 'Puella habet et habere fun ad convivium, quod est vita viventium, ius?' as they say. Beside it seemed it might be hard to get passed the bouncer an leving a little fur baby ina tent all day is a bit crule
