Has anyone done the Camp Womad thing ? Normally I Park and Camp but my other half won a facebook comp and we now have a two person camp womad tent . So just wondering if anyone knows how big the tents are and how much space there is and what the showers are like etc . etc ..

Sorry cant comment on tent sizes but a friend stayed in a Teepee a couple of years ago, showers were great but the area was reserved for those staying in the compound so not very sociable.
Did you have a Park and Camp ticket to sell? I am in Meadow Park and Camp for the first time and a little concerned over the distance. We do like to wander back in the afternoon for a bit and this year I have a bit of a dodgy knee which will take a bit of a bashing with all the expected Dad dancing.

never WOMAD camped but those who we know who have liked it, mind you finding your tent among rows of the same kind of tent isn't easy, so take something to mark our tent
solar fairly light make it very easy to find especially at night

i remember one year coming back Thursday night and a woman trying to get directions to the Womad camp area from a security steward. If she was struggling to find the compound, good luck to her identifying her tent...although there could be some very interesting stories of mistaken tents
