The bus from the airport arrives at an underground bus station which is directly underneath where the festival site is , so when you take the escalator or stairs up you will see The Santa Catalina site with Womad stages and countless stalls . The band Delgres sound pretty good , sure they will be great live .Hope to bump into you Calndel _ we are there for a week

We have made it to Las Palmas
We had a few hic ups on the way (New road lay out at Manchester airport meant finding the car park we had booked into was a bit tricky, Del left the parking details in the car and had to go back for them (30 minutes to the car park and back), the bus from thw airport to Las Palmas was delayed in traffic and our host's "I'll be there in 10 minutes turned out to 30 minutes).
Never mind a shower and a nice bottle of red wine has made it all better.

3 bands on this evening
we are not too fussed about the first to so we'll go for dinner after checking out the first one
KrmesZ aL'est the last band were fun at WOMAD UK and almost stole Bloohair away from us so we'll be loon dancing to them and sipping armagnac (Del managed to find a nice bottle in a little supermarket which 30% alcohol for sale!)

I got an app for bus timetables in gc called Moovit which worked pretty well. Very good connection to Santa Catalina from the airport. Enjoy and say hello to my red ukulele in bar da Vinci. As requested Attachment Deleted

we have been having loads of fun and enjoying some great music the crowds are okay but very chatty even during the bands, might be something to do with the all the little bars around the stages Friday started with some flamenco and we heard a few of the crowd singing along to the songs, the night light of the night was KermesZ al est who were as mad as ever. we also said hello to one of Bloohairs friends after the show,

as the music doesn't start until the evening, we spent Friday day time swimming in the sea, walking along the beach and trying some of the local sea food which was excellent.

last night we really enjoyed Maalem Hamid El Kasri, we missed them at Charlton park so it was a extra bonus next for us was Talisk from good old Jockland, they were really lively and the crowd loved it as did we

Del managed to stay upright for Oumou Sangare but for some reason he felt the performance was a little bit below par it may have been the very drunk and chatty crowd or only having an hour on stage Del did enjoy it (part from when a Spanish lady decided to use his back as drum)
