Currently spending ten days on Gran Canaria staying at Maspalomas.
Today we caught a bus to Las Palmas and saw the stage being set up for WOMEX and no doubt it will be used for WOMAD later in the month.
Its been in the 30s since we arrived and very sticky.
BCUC were amazing at CP ENJOY.

we also decided not to book a transfer as it was going to cost £30 to £40 and there is an express bus that would drop us off 10 minutes walk from out apartment and it only cost 4 euros

Im there week before , few days in Tenerife , then few days in Las Palmas travelling with friends,
Airbnb in both Capitals
Recommend the bus ride to Cruz de Tejeda head out on Bus 303 to San Mateo then bus 305 to Cruz de Tejeda about 5 euro each way
Sunday is Market day as well in Teror and San Telmo
Wont be there for Fest "My Balls Up" Old dates were still showing on a link on Peter Gabriel Web Page.

cheers for the suggestion, we checked out Cruz de Tejeda and added it to our list of things we'd like to do
the online info all seems to be done though facebook as the whole thing seems to be done on a shoe string
oh and AirBnB can be fab

I got an app for bus timetables in gc called Moovit which worked pretty well. Very good connection to Santa Catalina from the airport. Enjoy and say hello to my red ukulele in bar da Vinci.

He has blocked the info sharing option as he doesn't want any harvesting his data |
