Hope the Full Snow Moon finds everyone well, happy, and busy with festival plans. Even if some may be waiting until next year or checking out a different festival than WOMAD this year.
As for me I'm just done with my first short vacation / holiday this year. I did not go on a trip, but did manage to go to the Chicago Auto Show and The Progressive Motorcycle Show. Found I really like the Royal Enfield Himalayan, but time will only tell if there will be one in my future. I was also fortunate to be able to stay home and cozy during a couple of ice storms. Spent a little extra time with my Guy and started some planning for a trip to the Shetlands, the Folk Music Festival there and who knows? Which is why some big purchases may have to wait a bit.
There was some sadness, as my step father's brother passed suddenly from heart failure. He was only 62.
Back to some happier news and hopefully some cake.
