Happy Birthdays! and Happy Full Pink Moon!
The snow is gone, hopefully until next winter, and the flowers are soon to be blooming. Festival planning becoming more intense.
WOMAD Caceres opens 9 May, anyone going?
WOMAD UK is now in it's double digit countdown for those here waiting excitedly for WOMADer gatherings, hopefully under beautiful blue skies with maybe some white fluffy clouds.
As for me, I'm realizing it's time, with less than two weeks, to dust off the suitcases and get thinking about how much I'll need to keep me largely out of needing to do too much laundry during my trip, but not put me over airline weight restrictions. Not to mention room to bring backa sweater or so.
Traveling in early spring tends to be more difficult as one needs to prepare for warm days and cold days. Which is why I like traveling with my camper in the states, as I can take more than I need to and it's no big deal really.
May attempt the bus from airport to ferry terminal this time vs a cab. I allow myself to change my mind for covenience over savings if I'm feeling tired after the flights. However, the bus seems prtty easy now that I found the full schedule.
Am hoping my friend in Shetland is up for a visit as she's had some serious health issues.
Am hoping Cal and Del can find some time from earning WOMAD tokens for a short visit, but no pressure. After all, they are going on a holiday of their own.
My Stepfather finds out where he stands with his cancer. He took his horse to a reining show, got a score, and was happy he didn't fall off. He was also awarded his Green Rider buckle, which normally is awarded at the end of the year banquet. Not sure if he will be able to ride in anymore shows this year. My mother is hanging in there.
My Guy is doing just fine and a happy pony. I do find myself wearing a lot of his hair after grooming. Ah, the spring shed.
