with only 40 day to go until WOMAD UK
it's about time we started to get serious and talk about the weather
this spring has been a cold and wet one so we are hoping the weather starts to improve soon

So Metcheck is forecasting a dry Womad, 18-20° temperature, and quite cloudy, particularly the Saturday.
What could possibly go wrong?

Heard this all before, festival forecasts predicting wall to wall sunshine only to change completely a few days before Womad starts. Best approach is to expect the worst weather imaginable, make sure you are prepared and then if it is nice weather that is a bonus always pack yer sun cream though, whatever the forecast |

some pictures from this years downloads looked rather muddy but at least the stall holders were doing there bit to keep the site clean and tidy  |

with 3 week to go the UK has a split in the weather, the north has a cooling north wind which is bring showers and the south has high pressure and warm sunshine
it is still a bit early to predict the WOMAD weather but it looks like it could be cloudy with sunny spells, chance of light showers and temps around 24c

It's been fine and dry for the past couple of weeks here in SN16. The forecast is for more changeable weather next week, then it's a bit uncertain about the Womad weekend. But it sounds like it will be on the warm side, possibly fine, possiby some showers.

I was just looking at Accuweather, which is suggesting some rain Thursday & Friday mornings and overnight Thursday, but that's about it. Of course, it is always too early for an accurate forecast  |
