We have to accept reality so to make lock down more enjoyable could Womad please replay every festival by replaying Radio Womad in real time every weekend from as soon as possible and advertise this to all ticket holders and fans in general via the Womad main page.

Hi All. A little surprised that no one has commented on the current Radio Womad stream? I haven't had much time to be on here recently, but thought I would mention the "experiment". The more people who listen, the greater the chance that the "experiment" might result in a permanent stream. No commentary so far (that I have heard), but plenty of uninterrupted great music. Radio Womad could try operating like Radio Caroline do - listener funding perhaps, along with volunteers to produce programs. What do you think? I have already discovered a number of great new artists to follow. The stream is on MixCloud. Wish it was done a different way because the Android app is not great, and when listened to in a browser it doesn't continue playing when another app is active. This and last year's "Womad at Home" shows are also still available to listen to.
And ... of course ... I have just read Cal & Del's mention of it!

yip, we have been able to listen in to some of the radio WOMAD streams, hopefully they will continue and focus on the artist due to play at any pending WOMADS
