Happy Harvest Moon followed by the Fall Equinox. Hope it finds everyone well and happy. Sadly, that means less daylight until the Spring Equinox.
World politics crazy as ever. Where there is despair, there are other places showing hope for getting their crazy under control. Over here in the USA, our legal system and those appointed (some questionably) to serve the law respectfully and correctly are about to be put to test. The next few years will be tough politically, but especially next year.
Covid is and isn't under control depending on where you are. In the USA places that overwhelmingly voted for Trump are now overwhelming their hospital and funeral systems. Common sense ways of battling the virus, vaccines and masks are an arguing point. Though much of the point seems to be that of a toddler, "I don't wanna." "You can't make me." People are using medications intended for animals and causing great harm to themselves. It's insane.
In the meantime, there are still so many more people doing good deeds everyday, but they rarely get the media attention like those causing harm do. It's the small unseen things that can have the greatest impacts on the world.
My life is fairly even keeled right now. Work made a big change in our tractor (truck) assignments, upsetting many, but over all, no big changes. Wasn't thrilled. Would have loved to have kept my old tractor, but doing just fine with the new assignment and partner.
Weather is finally getting cooler after a long hot summer in the northern hemisphere. Though many places are still dealing with fires, around me the farmers are bringing in their fall crops. Many of which are used for bio fuels, such as bio diesel and ethanol fuel additives.
Fall festivals are going on, as most of them are outdoor affairs. I'm kind of surprised a lot of the commercial haunted houses are operating. I believe they are requiring masks. I guess any unmasked people will just make it scarier?
