Anyone else enjoying the dismantling? Can see more of the arena now... just the largest stages left now... couldn't really see them before. This is my favourite shot - from Sunday evening... View AttachmentGlad you are keeping us up on the dismantling of WOMAD 2022. It was crazy being on the other end. Really wish we could have made the WOMAD wave work this year, but WOMADers are like herding cats. Wish you could have joined us this year. Still can't believe it's happened and I will be on a plane in about a day and a half. Will update more later, as I got a hotel late and really need to get some sleep.

I have to admit to being super useless when it comes to meet ups etc - something seems to happen to time at Womad and the moment is suddenly gone. Enjoy the rest of your visit and tell us what you got up to when you've recovered at home...

Enjoy the rest of your visit and tell us what you got up to when you've recovered at home... Will do. except for far too many breaks to catch up here, trying to unpack do laundry and such. Will take some time to sort out photos and such. Was fun wandering around WOMAD thinking, I'm really here. Impossible to see and hear it all, but made my best effort. Podpad was the best way for me to go, needing to secure more than what one would normally bring to camp with them, but not sure it's really worth the price in other ways. I have a feeling everything was put away clean last time they used them, but likely should have been rewashed before being used this year. Broke out with some light hives. Should have complained I suppose. Maybe they could have done something, but was having too much fun and often there was no one at their office. Still a lot less than the Airstream trailers. Someone told me those ran around 5,000 pounds for the weekend! ๐ฎ

Well this is all I can see that's visibly left of Womad - a stack of fencing in the far field awaiting collection

Is Webby still broadcasting? If so, the little 4x4 buggy is doing endless laps of the site (or stuck in a time loop) and the van on hire from Alpha Hire must costing a fortunate (will the excess van hire costs cause Womad to go bankrupt? I hope not ๐ค)

what part of the site would that be rendrags? The field in the distance is used for Family Camping and beyond that Glamping. On the other side of the trees on the right is the arboretum and arena right - so the gap between the trees is the purple gate (walking from the garden centre towards family camping)?
