Happy Full Wolf Moon Greetings!
It tried to shine through the clouds last night, but remained too overcast for a clear view of the moon. Have had a lot of overcast days lately, hard to get motivated when the days are short and gloomy. Thankfully, we are at the time day light is getting longer, even if it's not quite noticeable yet.
WOMADers are dreaming of this year's WOMAD and purchasing tickets, but not yet inspecting tents and gear for X Marks the Spot.
Peter Gabriel is still teasing us, but has put out a new song reminiscent of the songs of his youth. We are at his mercy, so wait we must. It does seem, he's using the moon cycle for releases of songs. Hopefully, he's including at least New Moons, if not quarter moons. Anyway, tickets are being sold for his UK/Europe Tour of IO, so the release of the album should predate the tour. We can hope anyway.
In a few short days, I will find if I made a good decision to go to Bonarroo this year. They don't mess around, but then again, they do have corporate sponsors. With about 150 bands, I'm sure I'll find something to listen to. I do plan to bring my WOMat, I bought when I finally was able to get my T-Shirt.
Guy is doing well and all his cuts are healed. Some still need to grow more hair, but he healed up nicely. New barn owner spoils him. As for me, back in the workaday world routine, and it's all good.
