Anyone know what the Glass bottle restrictions are this year - it was so stupid in 2022 when they took glass bottles of wine off us... then later that day recinded the policy?

Don't know... I always pour drinks into empty plastic water bottles to be sure - also lighter to carry.

Pretty sure all festivals, especially those that have camping put in place no glass rules. Broken glass in fields full of campers, is not fun and is impossible to clean up. Leaving a hazard for years to come. Granted you may have your favorite bottled wine, but for festivals a box wine is probably the safest bet.

Hope you don't mind, I moved your thread to everything WOMAD where it may get more attention.

From WOMAD's faq's
You can bring your own alcohol but glass is not allowed in the arena. Please drink responsibly. WOMAD does not tolerate underage drinking. Anyone under the age of 18 found with alcohol will have it confiscated and their parent/guardian contacted.
