Ha - my brother played me Disturbed's The Sound of Silence yeterday - gosh, what a belter! Fab to sing with - love the original and love this version too - both equally strong in their separate ways  |

Mind you talking of Powerful, a friend of mine posted on FB yesterday a clip of a live version of Bowie Heroes. I always preferred the what I feel as the far more powerful German version from the film Christian F, which made a big impression on me when I saw it in my early 20's. The German version to me is not only more powerful but also far more appropriate and the way it was used in the film, awesome. So I share it here too Turn up the volume and hankies at the ready for tears of desperation and hopelessness. |
