That is part of the problem, though it's a good problem for the Democratic Party to have. Meaning, the Democratic Party has become the party of everyone, which is why they often have problems with cohesion. After all, it's hard to make everyone happy, and they really are the party of everyone, except Nazi's and their affiliates perhaps.

Well, back to bonkers Brexit, just a thought on Labour's demands for a General Election if May's plan is defeated. I think everyone knows that the majority of Tory MP's and the Labour Leadership are pro Brexit in principle, but surely calling for a General Election now only proves that further, if the Leadership was pro Remain then they would be calling for an extension to Art. 50 and a fresh referendum. But an Election? Look at the timetable, May looses her vote on the 15th May, she then has 3 working days to come back with another plan (which can be anything, just fudge), so on the 18th Jan, she gives her plan. MP's then have a vote of no confidence the next working day Monday 21st, she looses, she is then allowed 2 weeks to decide what to do (as I understand it that's law), so on the 4th Feb she announces a General Election, for two months time 4th April. At the point of announcing a General Election the work of Parliament ceases so that MP's can return home and fight for their seats. As Parliament ceases Civil Servants can ONLY implement acts, laws and policies that have already been agreed by Government or Parliament. So they cannot extend Art 50, they cannot negotiate, they cannot call another referendum. So Labour win the election on the 4th April, BUT, we left the EU with a No Deal Brexit on the 29th March. The Brexiteers both Left and Right, got what they want. Time for A People's Vote, Extend Article 50 and have an honest Peoples's Vote, EXTEND ARTICLE 50 NOW!

May loses the vote by 230 votes, doesn't step down, doesn't all an election.
Labour call for a vote of no confidence which May is expect to win...........................
lets not forget May's slogan of a few years ago
"not deal better that a bad deal"
she going to get what she wanted along, jump ship and then she, her husband and friends will make a shed load of money

Hold my hand while we jump off this cliff
"Let's jump off this cliff - it'll be fun! A right laugh!" urged all the people (well, I mean just over half of those who bothered to speak up at all). I peered down at the rocks; it was a long way to fall.
I said, "This cliff's more than three hundred feet high and my doctor tells me if I jump I will die." They cried "Cliff-jumping's fine! You can trust us! We read all about it on the side of a bus."
Worried, I met up with my local MP. I shared my concerns. He was forced to agree; "Why the rocks below would smash you to bits! Where did you get this plan of jumping off cliffs?"
"It was the will of some of the people," I said and his expression changed to another instead. "I think," he revised, "you're being melodramatic. The problem is you. You're undemocratic."
On the clifftop, we waited. In silence we stood. Then a voice: "Remind me, why is cliff-jumping good?" We all looked at our shoes, baffled and stumped. Then, out of embarrassment, we held hands and jumped.

Jumping off a cliff seems preferable to suffering this long painful death courtesy of May & Co's demented nonsense.

Another act of cowardice and hate has taken place. This time in New Zealand. How I do give New Zealand credit for calling it what it was, a right wing terrorist act. In the USA if you are white and do this, you merely have a mental health issue, even if you've carved swasticas on your weapons and like this idiot posted a deranged manifesto pushing for an insane 'race war.' To be honest, most terrorist attacks are right wing. Some try to hide in an illusion of left ideologies, but with rare exception, they fail that test in what their ultimate goals are, and in the method of violence they choose to achieve it. Violence and fear are the ultimate right wing goto, to get what they want. Even when they don't use violence, they sell fear. Others don't hide their right wing agendas as the Islamic State are right wing terrorists, and don't hide what they stand for anymore than any Nazi/supremacist would.
Anyway, still wishing you luck with ending Brexit, even though May seems determined to tear up the unity that helps keep the European countries safer than they ever could be divided.

It must only be a fine line between blaming Middle East refugees in order to achieve your aims static.timesofisrael.com/www/uploads/2016/06/Britain-EU_Horo.jpgAnd becoming a right wing terrorist targeting Muslims. As you say, ZR, it is good that a country like New Zealand is honest at the outset and calling a terrorist act just that, rather than hiding it behind mental issues. If a society needs healing at such awful times, then Jacinda Ardern is the leader you want to be there . Her honesty and true compassion makes her the person you would want to turn to for reassurance.

another sicken side to the shooting in NZ is the viewing and sharing of the footage the person broadcast online
why would you want to watch it let alone share it

another sicken side to the shooting in NZ is the viewing and sharing of the footage the person broadcast online why would you want to watch it let alone share it Sadly, there are far too many who share this mans distorted view of the world. They will distribute the footage and use it to normalize their call to violence. It will make them feel that they are not alone and somehow that it's OK to do cowardly violent acts. It's not, any reasonable person would know better, but we are not dealing with reasonable people.
