It's going to pass 4 million soon... and it's got more validity than the lousy referendum.... at least Trump and Putin won't be interfering. Just 100k short of the 5m mark now. on the downside, the woman who started the petition is now receiving death threats. We must all stand up to the bullies! the motto of the IWW: an injury to one is an injury to all. Sadly, that is their go to. Unfortunately, it is possible some cowardly idiot may try, though most are too cowardly to ever be seen from behind their computer. Here's to keeping her, her family, and all that stand up for freedom safe. The good thing for her, most of those threats are likely coming robots and not real people. |

I had thought we couldn't ever have a worse PM than Cameron, but Theresa May is disproving that. A truly awful woman. 
Goodness knows how it's all going to turn out. I feel ashamed to be British at times.

Great day yesterday at The People’s Vote March in London. Even Alan (our dog) went along 😀 Great to hear SC! Given how disgusted, embarrassed and ashamed I am to "be" British because of 'kin B****t I am really annoyed with myself for not going... did sign the petition though, obviously... Feeling the same way in America. Your PM may be acting like a clown, but we have a real clown for President.  I have not made every march myself, but make every effort when I can and when it's appropriate for me to go. |

Even scarier is that for a while our MP, mark Harper is being tipped as a next PM. Former minister for immigration until it was discovered he was employing a cleaner who was not registered to work in the UK, had a short stint as minister for disabled people, became chief whip and gave his support to government plans to repeal the hunting act. |

Replace the whole thing with something more like jury service? Government of the people. It worked in ancient Greece. |

Like minds, OK so not MP’s (They should be voted in by PR) but the House of Lords, should consist of 25% Experts (non political appointments) from various fields, 25% People who have done “good” for the Country (charities, campaigners etc), again non political; 25% Voted in (Political) and 25% jury style members of the public. |
