Next weekend I've signed up to do the Ridgeway Ultra Marathon. Except I will be walking it not running. The challenge for me is to complete 100km walk over two days with camping at the half way point. We start over in Lewknor to the East and end of Day 2 end up at Avebury. The event is entitled "Race to the Stones".
Its the first thing I've done as an adult that I have signed up to that involves getting a number. Four of us in my Walking Group are doing this crazy walk and we have a done a couple of 20 mile training walks with another this weekend.

I recommend a pint of Well Water at the Red Lion - don't forget to have a peek down the well too.. through the door, turn left, then left again and its on your left |
