Warrior has tried the bath SS and declared it to be the best bath he's ever had.... Our daughter-in-law-to-be, Sophie, (who is not quite 5 foot) had a lie down in it and could lay completely flat with room to spare! I've also had a go and the joy for me is the width as much as the length! (Ooerrr missus!)  |

It is all starting to come together........ So far we have a 99% completed kitchen....fully working and usable but with unpainted walls and woodwork. We have a 99% perfect bathroom.....the shower leaks but a replacement arrived today and will be swapped ASAP...... This weekend we get our lounge back.....the decorator is finishing off in there today....and I love our colour choice....a sunny, warm shade.... .......that means sofas.....TV......a bit of normality! By the following weekend we should be able to move out of the bedsit back into our proper bedroom.....there won't be carpet... that will come when everything else is finished. .. but we will have built in wardrobes! In the meantime, here's a little shot of the kitchen.... Attachment DeletedI love it! |

Jax, it is so good to hear of everything now galloping to the finish - could well coincide with Betsy being ready too, so you'll have to tear yourself away, forget what it all looks like and return to the excitement of the big reveal! Day 47...I think....we have our lounge back! There are still shelves to go up and the patio doors are going to be changed for bi-folding ones, but we have a sofa to sit on and a TV to watch! 😊 Before: Attachment Deleted |

Nice Jax I like the fire, I am thinking on similar lines for a fire but Mrs SC is thinking more traditional, we will probably compromise and go for something more traditional |

I liked the old look as well PD and had lived with it for 10 years, but the time had come fora change. I love how much bigger and brighter the room feels now. When the shelving goes up tomorrow, all our beloved ornaments will come out on display again. No regrets at all! |
