we've had a look at the BBC weather and they say it will be cloudy most of the time, a little bit of light rain on Friday, light winds and 20c
as it's been a dull and damp day for us today we'd take what the BBC has on offer

Wellies. . . the devil's camping gear if you've got to carry them - I always worry about whether I really need them - they're heavy to carry and either turn out to be absolutely useless or essential. . . the stuff of nightmares.

Especially when camping. Largely the weather liars (as an old friend of mine calls them) don't actually predict the weather, they just guess.

It's looking pretty good according to MSN weather--usually the world's most optimistic weather people. 21 degrees and cloudy, though light rain on Thursday. Not perfect for setting up though, as we're going to Camp Bestival as 'volunteers', we get to go in on Tuesday and set up the tent--which is a nice bonus. I've never been anything other than a paying customer at a festival. So, full rain gear packed for the girls. I'll pack a rain jacket and hiking boots just in case but I'm not anticipating a repeat of last year. As I've said before, there would be open revolt in the Sindigo household were it to pour like 2015--with mrs Sindigo threatening to find religion just so as to some day have a better chance of punching the god she doesn't believe in.

Ha! Last night I totted up the mm of predicted precipitation for Thurs through Sun - less than 1cm, and there's not alot before hand so the ground will soon soak it up. Decision made - not taking wellies!! Pacamac and small brolly for insurance purposes only!

Footwear conundrum! 1. Walking boots let the wet in and are caked with last year's mud despite walking to work in pouring rain a few weeks ago... 2. New wellies at the ready 3. Flip-flops 4. Walking sandals I don't want to bring all 4! Which combination, anyone? Will pack the sunscreen! PS: I can't spell conundrum!

I'd pack wellies and walking sandals. Even if it isn't raining, I actually like to wear my wellies late in the evening to keep my legsies warm. I've been anxiously checking the Met Office forecast every day for the last week or so for Malmesbury. Darn thing keeps changing but at present, Met Office thinks there will be rain at 1pm and 4pm on Thursday. www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/gcnt2nvv9#?fcTime=1469664000

Forecast changes every time I look at it. Going with waterproof trainers, layers and sunblock, with wellies and sandals, fleece and raincoat just in case.
