It was torrential rain for Bellowhead! We were at the front (without umbrellas - hate the things, refuse to use them anywhere) and we got absolutely soaked through

Zenrider, wish you were coming too  Me too, but heck, I'm not even going to Lollapalooza (same weekend as WOMAD) and that's only an hour and a half away. It sells out every year before I can make up my mind. Plus there is no camping and hotels in Chicago that weekend price gouge horribly. And since I've pretty much spent my budget for that this year.  I'm thinking 2018 is probably the most realistic year I could make it, and that will be dependent on when I can get vacation time. BUT!!!! I am super excited for all of you!!!  I understand 2018 is going to be a classic year for Womad |

Gosh, Helen - we really don't remember a drop; but loved the performance; as I said, loads of happy dancing and the sense of the last chance to experience something special - overode the rain! |

It was raining a bit this morning but it is now gloriously sunny. Heard the Ops Director yesterday claim it will be sunny for most of Womad. 😊
