So, today I will find out what can be found and what can't. Starting to gather things in roughly one place; sounds easy, doesn't it, but proves otherwise. Not easy sharing spaces with someone who uses the "nearest available space" method of putting things down rather than where they came from, or putting them away or anywhere they can be found without a search party being involved. Off to see what I can find in the garage and a couple of boxes on the top shelf of the wardrobe in my room.... hoping for cooker, water flagons, kettle etc...... ....wish me luck!

Good luck lovely lady. We are having to empty Betsy next week for her first habitation service, so our dining room is cluttered beyond belief....but it's all good. It's nearly time! *butterflies in tummy* ๐

As it is, I'm squirreling everything in my room. Hit the jackpot with the search - found cooker, flagons, kettle, cutlery, washing up stuff and other gear. Have added enamel mugs and plates and will make a list of things needed to be found. Just rolling up self inflating mattresses and making a pile of clothes and gathering wash kit items... nearly there!

Thank goodness my new flat has a large walk-in store cupboard so I can put my hands on camping gear....apart from the camping stove borrowed by fishing obsessed son-in-law last year and never returned. Grrrr, my camping stuff is precious and IT'S MINE! On the plus side, Womad flags now ironed (yes ironed), and carefully placed in a plastic bag. NOT LONG NOW

The important thing to ask is - will Mrs Trellis be carrying Sherry glasses? Must introduce her to my trolley Tony, named after my cousin. Itโs a fishermanโs trolley and as my cousin does fishing I think of him when I get it ready for Womad.
